Housed in a former antique shop, Antiek has been a creative landmark in Amsterdam’s Jordaan since 2013; Blending tattoo artistry and fine art from around the world. For the first time, Antiek joins forces with ‘Here and Now’ to present a fresh curatorial vision. This unique exhibition showcases exceptional artists from diverse disciplines, expanding Antiek’s artistic horizons, and celebrating creativity in all its forms!
Annegien Kok
Annegien is a Dutch tattoo artist known for her evocative abstract blackwork. In this series, she turns her focus toward the subtle, shifting boundaries between female friends. “Houden we ’t een beetje gezellig..?” becomes both a gentle reminder and an open question—how do we hold space for one another, and what does that space mean as relationships evolve?
All works are acrylic and Indian ink on paper.
