Japanese tattoos
Anibal specializes in full-body compositions, sleeves, and backpieces that integrate iconic elements of Japanese tattoo culture. He focuses on traditional Japanese tattooing (Irezumi), but adds a modern touch with vibrant colors, sharp lines, and unique elements that blend surreal or contemporary styles.
Composition is everything. Each tattoo is designed to move naturally with the body. His backgrounds are never filler: clouds, water, and negative space are crafted intentionally to support rhythm and depth in the design.

custom designs
Anibal collaborates closely with each individual to grasp the essence of their ideas, transforming them into timeless visual art. Drawing inspiration from the deep-rooted traditions of Japanese Irezumi, his tattoos blend cultural history with contemporary storytelling. Color is his emotional language. He uses it strategically, to amplify contrast or build atmosphere.
Modern Irezumi
(Neo) Japanese tattoos are inspired by Japanese culture, mythology, folklore, and art and often referred to as Irezumi. This includes familiar motifs such as koi fish, japanese dragons, cherry blossoms, tigers, geishas, samurai, japanese waves, phoenixes, and hannya masks. These traditional elements carry deep cultural and spiritual significance, and neo-Japanese tattoos continue to explore these symbols but with a modern twist. original paintings by anibal
When he's not immersed in tattooing, Anibal dedicates his time to painting, often collaborating with fellow artists. His creations are influenced by Japanese symbols and Apocalyptic Art, resulting in distinctive works that embody these themes. Notably, he is the first Argentinian artist to showcase his work at the Van Gogh Museum. You can view his paintings in the shop, with select pieces available for sale or rent. Strong Narrative & Thematic Focus
Each tattoo—whether a sleeve, backpiece, or full body suit—feels like a scene from a myth or folktale. Use of archetypal figures: samurai, geisha, dragons, koi, oni, masks, floral elements—always arranged to evoke emotional tone and meaning.
Advanced Color Work
Vivid but harmonized palette: bright reds, blues, oranges, and greens are used without clashing. High contrast and intentional saturation—the artist knows when to let color dominate, and when to fade into black & grey for balance.
Composition & Flow
Excellent body flow: Tattoos wrap naturally with anatomical structures—torso, limbs, chest—with seamless integration across areas. Use of traditional Japanese backgrounds (wind bars, waves, clouds) to connect elements without overcrowding them.
Clean, Illustrative Line Work
Thick, confident outlines—true to traditional Irezumi. Detail where it matters: you see intricate patterning in scales, armor, kimonos, and floral textures, without muddying the visual.
Modern Surreal Touches
In some works (e.g. the sleeve with the all-seeing eyes in flames), there’s a slightly psychedelic or surreal twist that departs from strict tradition while still respecting its form. This suggests Anibal is not only a master technician but also a storyteller and innovator.
