I’m Rafael Rodrigues, a Brazilian tattoo artist specialised in Traditional (Old School) tattooing. I started my journey in tattooing in 2016, when I began my apprenticeship at the age of 16 in Passo Fundo, a city in the south of Brazil. From the very beginning, I chose to dedicate myself exclusively to Old School tattooing, building a strong foundation based on bold lines, solid colors, and timeless designs.

My approach to tattooing is rooted in tradition, but I enjoy pushing its visual impact by mixing bold, heavy lines with more delicate line work. This contrast allows me to create a distinct visual rhythm and ensures each tattoo carries my personal identity. Colour plays a key role in my work, with a strong focus on vibrant tones and high contrast. I’ve always been drawn to creating tattoos that stand out and can be recognised from a distance, while still maintaining clean execution, balance, and longevity.
