blackwork
Stephanie began tattooing in 2018 after discovering her passion during a study exchange in México. Her journey has taken her through Barcelona, Argentina, and across South America and Asia. Inspired by travel, nature, and folklore, she creates thoughtful, story-driven tattoos and loves connecting with clients through personal, meaningful designs.
Stephanie's tattoos are characterized by bold blackwork, featuring a mix of thick and fine lines along with intricate pepper shading. Her designs often include animals, insects, and natural elements that complement the body's contours. Sometimes, she adds soft, warm colors when it fits the design. Stephanie particularly enjoys creating cover-ups and pieces inspired by mythology, especially those featuring Japanese spirits and creatures.

Blackwork Foundation
Her tattoos are primarily created with black ink, featuring bold outlines that give each design a striking, graphic look. She often incorporates pepper shading, or dotwork, not only to add texture but also to create depth and form in a gentle, understated manner.
Illustrative & Engraving-Inspired Aesthetic
Stephanie’s artwork has a style that resembles detailed pen-and-ink drawings, naturalist engravings, or illustrations from storybooks. The careful linework and shading techniques provide a handcrafted feel, similar to traditional printmaking.
Use of Negative Space
Her compositions breathe. She balances heavy linework with open skin areas, letting the designs integrate smoothly with the body’s shape. Negative space is not just an absence of ink — it’s a deliberate part of the visual rhythm.
Selective, Minimal Color
When she uses color (as in the wizard frog or magic elements), it’s sparse and intentional — typically limited to warm tones like yellow and orange, which draw the eye without overwhelming the blackwork base.
